Wire wire drawing dies are widely used, such as high-precision wires for electronic devices, radars, televisions, instruments and aerospace, and common tungsten wires, molybdenum wires, stainless steel wires, wire and cable wires and various alloy wires are drawn with diamond wire drawing dies. Diamond wire drawing dies use natural diamonds as raw materials, so they are extremely wear-resistant and have a very high service life. The production process of drawing die insert includes several process steps such as pressing die, drawing die and turning.
In metal pressure machining. Under the action of external force, the metal is forced through the die, the metal cross sectional area is compressed, and the tool to obtain the required cross sectional area shape and size is called the drawing die. Wire drawing die is a kind of die through which the metal wire gradually reaches the required size from coarse to fine. This special die is the wire drawing die.
The die core of drawing die is generally made of natural diamond and artificial diamond (artificial diamond includes GE, PCD, synthetic material, etc.). Copper wire drawing die belongs to flexible wire drawing die. There are also hard wire drawing dies, such as tungsten wire drawing. The compression area angle of copper wire drawing die is generally 16-18 degrees, the fixed diameter length is 30-40%, while the compression area angle of tungsten wire drawing die is relatively small, generally 12-14 degrees, and the fixed length is 60-70%.
